We run a number of different classes (listed below) from our classrooms at The CastleGate depending on learners' ability, availability and affordability.

IELTS
IELTS is suitable for those wishing to study in English at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for those seeking professional registration” (Cambridge ESOL) either in the UK or abroad where the required level is usually 7 or above. [more...]

ESOL for Employability

ESOL for Employability is a 75 hour course run by Action Language which will help people who are eligible to work in the UK prepare for applying and working for jobs. It will cover everything from writing CVs to what you might need to be successful in the workplace. Skills for Life (ESOL)
 
Learners who struggle with communicating in English are unlikely to be able to achieve their true potential in their studies, at work or in life generally. By improving their English skills, learners stand a much better chance of progressing. Skills for Life ESOL classes allow learners to build their confidence to progress into employment, further study, access basic services and integrate into life in the UK more easily. [more...]

First Certificate in English (FCE)

Cambridge English: First, also known as First Certificate in English (FCE), is an exam for people who need to prove they can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level for work or study purposes. (Cambridge ESOL) It represents a perfect way of demonstrating your real-life English language skills to employers, universities and government agencies, as it is globally accepted. Tailored courses

Short, intensive or long term courses, geared to the needs of our clients. When a person arrives in the UK they often require intensive teaching to enable them to cope with the demands of everyday living and working. We can provide daily lessons for an intensive period or, once this period is over, regular but less frequent lessons are likely to be more helpful. [more...]
